Guest Post
Ok people its time for the first (and hopefully not the only one) guest post. It from a reader of my blog and a good friend of mine. He has rejoined orkut and can be found here. Though the post has a lot about me that I would not normally share, I have to stick by my promise on not editing anything thats written. And by the way I am also known by the name of Vinu. Its a name my parents, brother and all my relatives use. I sometimes wonder if they know my actual name.

guest post huh!!!
lets write somethin about the time we spent together. A few more of your readers or atleast one more would be able to relate themselves to it. My first memory of that life,,,, i remember the great Rupam sitting cross-legged on his bed 'hugging' his pillow possibly to hide his tummy..anyways there was this group of people sitting round him in the room listening in rapped(or so it looked then) attention. i guess till then people had not known that the rupam bhattacharya was so great at brainwashing. Anyways, there was this guy as well, with glasses and all. Looked a geek. Looked more like a guy from high school whom another guy (God that guy was thin!!!) called as Vinu..for quite a long time i had thought a part of his official name was tht. And Vinu was telling the story of his homesick cubicle mate. After that not much memories of him for sometime. I mean he was in a different room and he was a pretty studious kind(not tht i wasnt) but then he didn speak crap then. He learnt it by and by through Rupam's greatness, or should i say he was already adept at it, just needed a trigger.
So this guy....he was not interested a lot in sports and stuff. Wasnt a member of the TT room with the broken table, the table which taught me the basics of the game. So anyways,,, he came out as a nice studious guy,, of course not very nice...pretty cunning i mean but not bad at heart and types...nyways it just took the first internals of the first sem to make us know the magic of Sriniketh S. Amazing proficiency in dealing with the thing known as studies and tht too engineering first year....He used to leave nothing to chance then...had a back up for everythin i guess...and there was rupam----he never studied and still outshone everyone..:-)...he was just a genius i guess....one of the few big hearted geniuses i have met...and definately not a snob..ofcourse even srini wasnt one..oh! sriniketh had become srini by now...:-)..srini had this amazing quality....he never said no when anyone asked him for help in studies..didn matter even if he was in a disasterous position himself,, which he normally wasnt..of course u cant consider the final yr..thn no one studies...then srini went on to follow the logic of optimum studying, somethin rupam used to always follow....anyways,, u d think i have nothin other to tell abt them than studies....
lets see how i felt abt srini..i always thought he was overtly defensive, very cunning but someone who d achieve greatness..sometimes i used to get irritated by the fact that i knew more electronics thn him and he got much more thn me..pure jealousy....he was just a thorough professional when it came to doin somethin although he never admitted i think..even now he ll say no...the outward appearance was tht of a guy just too casual and too lazy..he was lazy no doubt but he finished his job and thn got lazy...and ya!! he used to go to the loo with his watch on!!!!... i never got tht....
but thn i must say he has the best hearts among all tamilians i have seen, no offence meant. he s a really good guy with quite a lot of brains, hence less of hair...and brains he uses wisely..and by the powers of the universe, he can fool you outright with his talking...and am sure he ll get through IIM this time coz he has his mind really set on it now...
another facet of him i never till the episode with one of his school friends was tht he was a very sensible advisor..on any matter and specially on matters regarding affection..i used to think he was too practical..but thn he used to be practical coz he didn have nythin to be emotional on..he can be emotional as well...although hard to see..
and he has an amazing tennis service...
