The week ahead....
Life in many ways is unpredictable. Its the unpredictability that keeps it going. But predicting whats going to happen in life is a science in itself. I will not term astrology as obscure or absurd since I do not know a lot about it. But if stars and planets are going to govern my life then so be it. Long live the stars!
Now I do glance through the star sign predictions once a week. Usually I forget what I read by the time I turn to the next page. And as usual I read whats written for virgo this weekend for the coming week. Recently a friend told me that I was a cusp - thats someone who is on the border of two star signs! Tough I dont like to be on the border I have started taking the liberty of peeking into the predictions of libra too to find out if the grass is greener on the other side. Then depending on which is better I could choose!!!
But this week I prefer to stick on to virgo - a lot better than libra! Lets see whats in store for me. The prediction read -
"You will have very fruitful week ahead. Love is in the air. You will spend quality time with your beloved. There are chances you might travel. You might end up getting a promotion. Some money will come your way. You might have a baby."
Ah now this is a week I would surely like to have!!! But lets see -
"Love is in the air" - Its been in the air for 14 months now. But its still only in the air!!!
"You will spend quality time with your beloved" - Now I have no idea how that is going to happen if I dont ask her out. Ok let me not get into a cribbing mood on monday morning, and my Heart and Brain are glaring at me!!!
"There are chances you might travel" - The only travel I am going to do is the 60km ride from home to office and back!!
"You might end up getting a promotion" - All I am expecting is the pink slip!!
"Some money will come your way" - Believe me, I dont know what to do with the money I already have!!!
"You might have a baby" - Ridiculous!!! I hear it takes nine months, a week is not sufficient. But let me ask my beloved anyway!!
And all I can predict for this week is that the blog is going to take a short nap. Major releases ahead. If I dont start looking into google to find out how to use a pointer (for the uninitiated a pointer is C jargon) I will soon end up writing predictions for star signs!!!
