Friends???

It was supposed to be friendship day yesterday. I received SMS's from two people wishing me for the same. One from a person I least expected to bother to send such messages and another from a number not in my phone book;so I have no idea who it is!

I was also mentioning to a friend of mine on how lame I find the concept of friendhsip day! Only a personal opinion though. But then I was wondering whether I did have any 'friends'. Have I really understood the meaning of friendship. I do have quite a lot friends, some very close, some not so close. But what is this true friendship that people talk about, or the friends for ever stuff that crops up on every friendship day. I have never understood that!

I am confused..........
